New TIME article accepted in the Journal of Marketing


The TIME article “Share Repurchases and Myopia: Implications on the Stock and Consumer Markets” was accepted for publication in the Journal of Marketing (Financial Times 50, VHB Journal Ranking: A+). The authors David Bendig, Daniel Willmann, Steffen Strese, and Malte Brettel (all WIN group) examine the effects of budget cuts in marketing and innovation while at the same time investing into share repurchases. The publication shows the negative effects for companies, which pursue such an investing strategy, on the capital and consumer markets. The article can be downloaded here:
